things that make me happy // 382-394

382. birthdays
383. chocolate fondue
384. birthdays AND chocolate fondue all in the same day!
385. finishing up a run and feeling worn out, but in a good way
386. re-reading old favourite books and getting that 'this is home' feeling
387. english class (we just finished Hamlet and my conspiracy theories have shot through the roof. It's almost more fun to talk about what MIGHT be going on in the play than what is actually taking place onstage)
388. teaching preschoolers how to swim (we blow lots of bubbles)
389. season finales. (Once Upon A Time tonight!)
390. parenthesis
391. visiting family in my favourite little beach town. I missed it.
392. driving. I loooove driving. And car rides in general (especially in the country!)
393. funny autocorrect mistakes
394. playing around with photo editing software on my phone
395. avocado smoothies (remind me and I'll share the link -- I'm on my phone typing this and don't know how)

It's been a good month so far!! I love May. How about you? What are you looking forward to this month?

  2. YES, chocolate fondue! And funny autocorrect mistakes are the best. x) I will literally save them in a separate word document if they really make me laugh. I also love feeling good-worn-out. Nothing like it. May is being her awesome self here, too! I'm looking forward to breathing deep and making remixes all day.

    love,

    1. Beezee, that's a great idea!! I save a lot of things (funny conversations, things my younger siblings and cousins say that I think are worth remembering) but not normally text conversations...although I do screenshot the particularly good ones, does that count??

I'm glad you're having a great May so far! And wow, making remixes sounds awesome!

  3. I've never had chocolate fondue, but it looks good! Speaking of parenthesis, I really liked brackets {} and []. :) They make me happy. And I like underlining and highlighting things. My art history book is filled with underlined and highlighted sentences. :P This month I'm looking forward to attending my friend's graduation, taking a friend's senior photos (!!!), finishing school, and playing in my violin recital. :)

(see what I did there? COMBINED THE HAPPINESS.)

I love highlighting things, too! But only if my highlighted lines are exactly straight. otherwise it bugs me. good luck in your violin recital!! I bet you'll do great!
