liebster blog award!

today I was browsing through a few of the blogs I follow (during math class, coughCOUGH. It gets boring, okay?) and anyways, I discovered that the lovely Morgan has nominated me for an award!! (I've already received this award, once upon a long time ago, but that's okay. right?)

Basically, the Liebster Blog Award is a way to promote relatively young blogs (those with less than 200 followers.) Here are the rules!

+Thank the amazing blogger that nominated you
+Answer the 11 questions the nominator provided
+Nominate a few other bloggers who have less than 200 followers (if you can nominate 11, you are amazing. I only got 3.)
+Post 11 different questions for your nominees to answer
+ Contact your nominees to let them know that you've nominated them

And here are Morgan's questions for me:

1. Why did you start blogging?
I started blogging because I had something to say...a lot of somethings, actually. I had all these new thoughts floating around in my head and I needed somewhere else to share them...besides my journals.

 2. If you could go on your dream vacation and money was no object where would you go?
Wales. That's where my dad's side of the family is from, and I'd love to go and see where I came from, in a sense. Also I really want to walk inside a castle. ☺

 3. If you could only wear one color for the rest of your life what would it be?

Probably blue (that's pretty much what I wear now!!) Either that or purple, I love the colour lavender.

 4. What was the most meaningful book you ever read?

Oh geez. I have absolutely no idea. I read too many books! (jk that's not possible.) The Chronicles of Narnia have been a part of my life for ages...at times, if I'm feeling really spiritually dry, or I just need to remind myself what God is like, I'll often read a few chapters out of one of the books. (and the Bible, of course, esp. the four Gospels.)

 5. What was the most boring book you ever had to read?

Great Expectations. I struggled through that one for months and just gave up. I just hated it. I was so confused the whole time.

(now I feel like I'm going to be attacked by a bunch of Dickens lovers. I'M SORRY.)

 6. What is your favorite time of year?

I love the beginning of every season, when everything is new and exciting...but my favourite time of all is right now, when the snow is finally melting and summer's just around the corner. Everyone gets an energy boost and it's just so pretty outside!

 7. What was the last movie you watched, was it a good one?

The last movie I watched. Um. I think Grace Unplugged? I enjoyed it, although it's not my most favourite movie ever.

 8. Are your nails painted right now? If so, what color?

YES and the paint is chipped and it's really bothering me. All my nails are blue except the pointer finger on my left hand, and the pinky on my right. They're bright pink.

 9. Country or city girl?

I've always lived in the city but I'm a small-town girl at heart.

 10. What is one thing you wish you were better at?

Driving!! It's so hard, guys. so much harder than I thought it would be. I haven't hit anybody yet, so that's a very good thing. obviously.

 11. If you had to teach a subject at school, what subject do you think you would be most equipped to teach?

englishenglishenglishenglishenglish. yes PLEASE! I'm not considering a teaching career, but if I was...I would absolutely LOVE teaching English.

Here are my nominees (you should all go check them out, they're pretty fun people):
Hannah @ Alainn
Alyssa @ younique
Elizabeth Sara @ Fashion and Figure Skating

my 11 questions

1. what is your theme song?
2. when you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?
3. pet peeve?
4. do you ever listen to classical music?
5. what's the scariest thing you've ever done?
6. where in the world would you most like to live?
7. if you could meet a fictional character IRL, who would you meet and why?
8. did you ever change the name of your blog? if so, why?
9. how do you feel about thrift stores?
10. would you ever go skydiving?
11. road trips or quiet afternoons at home?

thanks for nominating me, Mo! ☺ I enjoyed putting this together. Can't wait to see what my nominees come up with!

xx

  1. Thanks so much for answering my questions, I enjoyed reading your answers :) I'm with you on Great Expectations, I tried to listen to it on audio and I think that made it worse. I never finished and I really have no desire to do so. I've probably just jinxed myself into getting it for assigned reading for college or something :)

    1. yayyy this is so fun! ;) Your questions were really cool and creative, too. It made me want to go through and answer all of yours, too.

(also, being a flower girl sounds like tons of fun. I bet you could pull it off.)
