baby, it's cold outside

Hannah (my sister, not the blogger!) being a model

artfully arranging her hair. and hat. (bonus points for alliterated captions, please!!)

making her take pictures of my hair. "watch! I'm going to swirl it!"

pretty reeds! or bushes. or whatever on earth they are.

still walking.

if you could see my face in this picture, I am looking for my Gilbert Blythe. Didn't find him. :( which is probably good because my face was not doing anything attractive at this moment.

a tree branch. and also me, hey there.

me blowing my nose because it was freezing and this is just life in Canada. although no snow, which is ridiculously depressing.
I was going to write about how cold it is, but Hannah got really sassy and was like, "it's not THAT cold," so I had to re-write my whole post opening sentence. We were really cold, even if it wasn't really cold outside. There. You can see our hands are super red and there isn't even any snow, which is super sad. Canada, what are you doing.

In other news, pretty sisters are pretty. Yay. Merry Christmas, everybody!!! More posts in the new year!

xx

  1. It's so unfair of the weather to be cold without snow, in my opinion.

    1. I agree completely. :( It is a constant source of strife in my life. *sigh* the struggle is real.

(wait strife and life definitely rhyme and I didn't even do that on purpose!!)

  2. Great photos! You and your sister look like you could be twins! :D (well, from these pics anyway...but maybe they're deceitful. lolz)

Also you are hilarious like I'm just here laughing.

MERRY CHRISTMAS! I HOPE IT'S MAGICAL!

    1. People literally ALWAYS tell us we look the same. Even almost-complete strangers. o.O Also we've been mistaken for each other before, which was supremely awkward and scary because some guys from my high school started yelling at my sister as they drove by in their car, thinking she was me. It's just strange. :p

      YOU TOOOOO!!!!

  3. That's pretty much what it's like in Indiana too. No snow, and just cold enough to be cold. :/ I'm still hopeful that I'll wake up to 3 feet of snow on Christmas. Also: Great pics, and yes, I agree, you and your sister look very twinsy in these pictures.

    1. Ugh it's so sad. :( And yeah that's pretty much my dream too. They're calling for snow on Christmas day, even though it's supposed to be super warm on Christmas Eve. :(

thanks!! I can't believe you picked up on that, considering that you never even saw her face...I guess we look more alike than I thought? :p

  4. I love photo posts! Cute pics.
Gosh, I feel for you, in Canada with no snow! I live in the Southwest (U.S.) and even here it's really cold! No snow, of course, that only happens approximately every 50 years. XD
Lovely outfits by the way, very wintery.
Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
