one word: books. Every single flat surface in my bedroom (except my bed, most of the time) is covered with books. Some are mine, some are borrowed, quite a few belong to the library...and I keep collecting them, faster than I can read.
There's nothing else very special about how my bedroom looks, because it's kind of mostly been turned into a library with a bed in it. ☺
the music they like to listen to
I'm actually not a huuuuge music person. I mostly listen to music when cleaning my room or riding in the car...or in the morning after my iPod alarm goes off. Lately (ever since I first saw the movie in April) I've been loving the les Miserables soundtrack - but you already knew that, didn't you?

Sometimes I think I'm the only one who actually looks at people's hands. I dunno. They're just so interesting...and I think the amount of time people spend on their hands really says a lot about them. My hands tend to get dry in the winter, but if I use lotion they stay fairly normal-ish. I keep my nails short (I've never been able to figure out how people cope with long nails...they just get SO MUCH in the way) and sometimes use polish, but I'm okay with going without, as well.

In the living room. A lot of my friends like the privacy of their bedrooms, but I find it so lonely being there by myself...I prefer to read or write (or blog!) sitting at the kitchen table, or curled up on the couch...surrounded by people.

I stopped by my new school today to pick up my timetable, and as I was nearing the front doors (and feeling kind of nervous) a couple of guys came out. Even though I was fairly far away (they could have walked off without being impolite) one of them stopped and held the door until I passed through, and it just gave me a good feeling right as I was heading into an unfamiliar situation.

I can't say that I've actually tried it but studying what they photograph could tell a lot.
