dear blogging friends.

Well, dear blogging friends. It is in fact a new year. And as part of the new year, I'm looking for new blogs to read! (to be honest, this has nothing to do with the fact that it's January, and everything to do with the fact that I just love blogs and I want to find a few new ones to keep up with. The fact that it's a new year just sort of...fits.)
I thought that the perfect way to sort of share the blogging love around was for me to introduce you to a few of the blogs that I love to read! Here are some (not all! I could never fit all of you into one post, but the love is there. *sends love to all the blogs I didn't mention*) of my favourites.



Writes Like A Girl is my go-to blog for all things fashion and clothes-related. Nicole puts together such cute outfits and I love checking in to see what she's wearing in each new post. (also, she has blanket scarves!! I'm obsessed.)


 


I haven't been keeping up with Go Teen Writers lately, (sad face) but if I need some writing advice or just want someone to tell me that yeah, I'm not the only teen writer out there, this is my place. I used to be really involved; I'd enter all the writing contests and comment a lot. It's a totally awesome place and I realllllly need to start popping in more often.

 



 If the wanderlust bug is biting me hard, I pop straight over to The Daisy Tree! Hannah is always traveling somewhere fun, and I love reading about her adventures. (Also, she's super hilarious and blogs about Lord of the Rings and that makes me happy, too. And fangirly because ORLANDO BLOOM)

 


 Fantasy Gypsy is the perfect place to go if you're in need of a book (or four) to read. Hannah (but not the same Hannah as from the Daisy Tree! Also, not my sister, sorry to be confusing.) posts lots of wonderful book reviews in all kinds of genres, and no two reviews are ever the same. It's kind of like heaven, but with books.

 


Kate blogs down at The Goodness Revolt, and I am totally in awe of her command of the English language. Her posts talk about big things like truth, and God, but also the little things, like baking cookies over Christmas break, and it's kind of a perfect combo.


 


XOXO Mo is one of my favourite places to go for hair/general beauty advice. Morgan always has something quirky and fun going on...and also, a gazillion different colours of nail polish!! (I have jealousy.)

 


I love Danielle's blog, A Digression with the Dark, because it reminds me that I am not alone. Danielle is really open about sharing her life with the blogging community, and her posts ask some really big questions that keep me thinking even after I've shut down my computer. (plus, she's pretty handy with a camera!)

 


 I haven't been following Julia Paige for very long, but already her blog has become one of my favourites. She takes the most gorgeous pictures and it's so fun keeping up with her stories about everyday life!

    Oh, I know Go Teen Writers! I've been on their website a couple times but never regularly but yeah, they do have good stuff. I should make reading their articles more of a habit. Thanks for this interesting blog, Olivia (and thanks for mentioning my blog. I got all tingly and excited when I saw it). I want to check out some of these.

    Umm, other blogs I'm into? You kind of mentioned all of them. :P I don't follow a ton because I don't think I could keep up with many. Or I would keep up and my eyeballs would be glued to my computer screen.

    I love Writes Like A Girl! You've got fabulous blogs on your plate. I especially love wedding photographers' blogs though, the best one I've see is Logan Cole: http://www.logancoleblog.com ! He is a exemplary photographer.
